The Steamboat Soccer Club, Grassroots Program is an in-house recreational program designed for ages 4-8 wanting to discover the game of soccer in a fun, inclusive, learning friendly environment. Player's meet two times per week. The first session works on skill development through fun play-practice-play activities. Thursday's will be "Game Day". The games are 4v4 without goalkeepers. Volunteer parents coach teams with support from the Steamboat Soccer Club coaching staff. (This program would not exist without parent coaches! Please consider volunteering.) The focus is on individual ball skills and having FUN!
We will offer two locations for training. This gives you the opportunity to select the time, day, and locations that works best for you during the registration.
Choose from: U5-U6: Mondays at Memorial (by the High School) 4:15-5pm or 5:15-6pm or Tuesdays at Sleeping Giant School 4:15-5 pm or 5:15-6 pm. All games will be held on Thursday at Ski Town Fields.
