Boys & Girls

Our in-house recreational program is designed for ages 5-14 who want to discover the game of soccer in a fun, inclusive, and learning-friendly environment. Players meet twice per week. The first session focuses on skill development through fun play-practice-play activities. Games will take place on Fridays afternoon/evening during the season.


Volunteer coaches work with the players with support from the Steamboat Soccer Club coaching staff.

Registration for the Spring 2026 season opens on February 1



 U5-U8 Recreational Season Dates:
  • Fall Season: September 2 thru October 10
  • 6-Week season
  • Train once a week with the choice of:
  • Tuesdays from 4:15pm-5:15pm or 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Emerald Field Complex -or- Sleeping Giant School
  • Fall In-House Recreational League  Games on Fridays at Emerald Field either 4:15pm or 5:30pm by gender (6 games total)
  • Spring Season: April 27 - June 12 
  • 6 Weeks beginning in late April and concluding in early/mid June
  • Train once a week with the choice of:
  • Tuesdays at 4:15pm-5:15pm or 5:30-6:30pm @ Athletic Field by SGS, or Emerald Field Complex
  • Spring In-House Recreational League  Games on Fridays at Emerald Field either 4:15pm or 5:30pm by gender (6 games total)

  • Tuesdays at 5:30-6:30pm @ Memorial Park

Uniforms

Uniforms will be available for purchase in the soccer office or on the field during the first week of programming at a cost of $45. (includes: 1 jersey, shorts, & socks)

Volunteer

As a non-profit organization, we depend on and greatly appreciate the support of our families who volunteer. The Steamboat Mountain Soccer Tournament, Soccer Ball, Soccer Academy, and the Raffle income go toward reducing fees for players.

Additional Information:

Refund Policy for Recreational Programs: Refunds are granted before the second week of practice. A non-refundable registration fee ($25) will apply to all refunds. Partial refunds will be granted for medical reasons only.
